Well, in my interview, it was pretty general stuff. No particular book helped me prepare for it. I guess it's a general knowledge of science from your school curriculum (and beyond, in my case, for Biology) which is required.

Hello,

I got through NTSE too, and the interview there is quite different from the JSTS one. In NTSE, there ask you many high level ques. But, the JSTS interview seems to be course content and a little advance stuff. Further, in NTSE interviews, they ask you Maths and SST as well. I don't think these subjects are asked in JSTS interviews. However, one of my friends was telling me that a JSTS 2009 scholar had told him that there were some SST questions too: asked under the GK category. Therefore, could you advise me what should I read in SST? Will class IX and X course material for Science be enough, or class XI textbooks also need to be consulted? And about the No. of students selected, I think you're write about that. In JSTS 2009, 158 people qualified the 1st level, and 158 were the scholarship. But, I think there is some disparity in the amount of scholarship for the top 100 and for the people between ranks 101-158. As per cut-offs, one of my friends was telling me that it was around 135/225 this you. But, this is not an authentic info, and I'm not very sure!

Congrats guys!
@Sanuj - My interview didn't have any maths in it, don't know about how it is now though.
@Chhavi - I think everybody in the second stage gets selected. And I don't know much about the NTSE interview, so I can't comment on that.
